Most projects fall between $60,000 and $120,000+. The final price depends on basement size, how many rooms you add, and features like bathrooms, bars, built-ins, and upgraded finishes. Permits, code requirements, and 2026 labor/material costs also impact the total.

  • Standard ($60K–$75K): Full finished basement with mostly carpet, a bathroom if it’s already roughed-in, fiberglass shower, custom vanity, flat paint, plus framing/drywall/electrical/trim.
  • Mid-Range ($75K–$100K): Standard + upgraded flooring/electrical, wet/dry bar options, more built-ins/cabinetry.
  • High-End ($100K+): Mid-Range + maximum customization (custom storage, appliances, media centers, upgraded lighting/trim, specialty finishes).
