Aged to Perfection

We worked with Lindsay and her team at Hawthorne to finish our basement a few years ago during COVID. It is honestly one of our favorite areas in our home. We probably threw a lot at them in terms of a few ideas but they were able to bring our vision to life and could not be happier. If you have ever worked with a contractor before then you know that in a majority of cases the communication can be spotty and the bids can be unreliable. Lindsay and her team communicated wonderfully every step of the way and the process they have for bidding left little to no surprises to we were able to stay on budget. Would recommend them to anyone if you are looking to finish your basement!

You’ve Got Questions, We’ve Got Answers

Most projects fall between $60,000 and $120,000+. The final price depends on basement size, how many rooms you add, and features like bathrooms, bars, built-ins, and upgraded finishes. Permits, code requirements, and 2025 labor/material costs also impact the total.

  • Standard ($60K–$75K): Full finished basement with mostly carpet, a bathroom if it’s already roughed-in, fiberglass shower, custom vanity, flat paint, plus framing/drywall/electrical/trim.
  • Mid-Range ($75K–$100K): Standard + upgraded flooring/electrical, wet/dry bar options, more built-ins/cabinetry.
  • High-End ($100K+): Mid-Range + maximum customization (custom storage, appliances, media centers, upgraded lighting/trim, specialty finishes).

That’s what we do best! We take weird layouts, awkward corners, and tricky floorplans and turn them into smart, stylish spaces that work for you.

Nope! Unlike other contractors, we have already curated a vast selection of options to bring your design to life without all the vendor visits and decisions.  We have taken the second-guessing out of the process.

Only the best. All our vendors and subcontractors aren’t just hired—they’re trusted partners we’ve worked with for years. We personally vet each one to ensure they’re insured, bonded, and top-notch at what they do.

Every project is different, but one thing’s for sure—we keep things on track and keep you updated every step of the way. While surprises do happen in construction, we do everything we can to stay on schedule and keep you fully informed from start to finish.
