We just had our basement finished in November 2024. We had 4 different companies come in and do a bid. We chose Hawthorne because we liked what they offered and other reviews. They weren’t the cheapest or most expensive bid we received but worth it. Some highlights that were great. 1) I loved the weekly communication so we knew what what was going to happen the next week. 2) I loved the budget tracker sheet. I knew what the bids were for each trade and what the final bills were and how on target we were with the initial budget. 3) Their team helped with every step, they listened to what we wanted and offered suggestions when appropriate. We had them finish about 2/3 of our basement adding a bedroom, bathroom and a great room. If we decide to finish the rest we would definitely higher them again and would highly recommend them for your project. They are a great team to work with. Overall very pleased with the final product. Hawthorne was easy to work with and delivered as they promised. The project came in on time and within budget which is rare in construction. We’ve been in our finished basement for a few months now and have not had any issues.
